Mom’s Cranberry Sauce:
“This sweet, tangy sauce is one of everyone’s favorite at Thanksgiving!” ~Sarah
•2 (12 oz) bags fresh cranberries
•3 1/2 cups sugar-free cranberry juice
•2 tablespoons orange zest
•1 1/2 cups honey
•1 teaspoon cinnamon
•1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
•pinch of salt
1: In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients stirring to combine.
2: Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
3: Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes or until thickened.
4: Cool cranberry sauce at room temperature then chill 2-4 hours.
5: Serve cold
Yield: 4 cups
Store in refrigerator 4-5 days.
