• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1. Prepare brownie batter according to recipe directions, stirring in pecans after all other ingredients are added. Bake according to directions. Cool 1 hour.
2. Make the caramel by melting butter and honey together in small saucepan over medium-high heat. Simmer over heat until slightly thickened and nutty brown. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
3. Spread cooled caramel over cooled brownies evenly. Sprinkle with toasted pecans and serve.
