This dip provides an excellent motivation to eat your fruit.
Lots and lots of fruit. ‘Cause this dip is A.m.a.z.i.n.g.
Now for me, Fruit is fruit and in my opinion, you don’t really need anything to dip it in. I’m perfectly happy with just a big bowl of melon for a snack.
I know I am so boring, huh?
I hopped on the internet to find the perfect fruit dip recipe. Nearly every single recipe I came across called for marshmallow creme as the main ingredient. I definitely did not want that. I wanted a dip with smooth subtle vanilla flavor and NO marshmallows. (Not that I have anything against marshmallows!)
Finally, I decided that the main base for my dip would be vanilla pudding. Why not? It’s smooth, creamy, and I love it.
I used my vanilla pudding from this recipe, and added cream cheese for a touch of tang, a touch of whipped cream for softness, and a dash of pineapple juice for a subtle tropical flavor.
After only 15 minutes of prep, I had a huge bowl of creamy, soft dip ready and waiting for me to “dip in”. After one bite I thought, no more plain fruit for me!
You seriously can not help going back for seconds and even thirds.
Do yourself a favor and make this dip right now and thank me later.
