Roasted to perfection in maple syrup and spices, these candied pecans and almonds make the ultimate holiday snack or gift!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pecan halves
  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss all ingredients together until nuts are coated. Spread nuts on prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake nuts at 325F 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through, or until nuts are very fragrant and toasty. Allow nuts to cool on a wire cooling rack 30 minutes. (they will firm up and candi-fy as they cool) Once cooled, break nuts into chunks and enjoy!
