This cozy oatmeal has a luscious swirl of cinnamon glaze and is generously topped with crumbled oatmeal cookies. Your morning oatmeal will never be boring again!
Cinnamon rolls, cookies, AND oatmeal. My goodness, now THAT’s a mouthful.
A pretty tasty mouthful. 😀
For real, your morning oatmeal is changed FOREVER.
So, um. Put DOWN that package of instant oatmeal. In fact, throw out the remainder of the box. You won’t be needing that nonsense anymore.
That awkward moment when I realize my OWN pantry has like 5 boxes of instant oatmeal just in plain sight. I’ve gotta clean out my pantry. One of these days….
OR you could just come over and do it for me. I’ll provide the snacks. 😀
You know what else I need to clean out? My cookbooks. I feel as though now is as good a time as any to let you know that I’m a cookbook hoarder. I mean, even now just looking around my kitchen I can see three shelves practically collapsing from holding my precious cookbooks. Most of which are 50 years-or so old, falling apart, and with no appetizing photos to speak of.
I love all of ’em anyway. They were passed down to me from my mom that came from HER mom that probably came from HER mom. So now we’re talking 50-75 years old vintage cookbooks. Ginormous piles of them.
And I haven’t even counted the 10-foot high pile of library cookbooks that are on that one coffee table in the living room that my family is always yelling at me about.
“WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY COOKBOOKS?!”
Me: “Do you guys like to eat?”
“YES, BUT WHY SO MANY?”
Me: “Do you like to eat?”
My local library must have guessed by now that I’m a food blogger with all the cookbooks I’m always ordering on interlibrary loan. One of the librarians even told me once that she loves it when I order so many cookbooks, because once I return them she puts them aside for HERSELF to check out.
Sooo I’m glad my “problem” makes some people happy.
Oh, who am I kidding. My cookbook “problem” is pretty much the best problem ever. 😀
What does all this have to do with oatmeal you may ask? Nothing. I just feel like I should tell somebody about my latest obsession. I know all of YOU guys understand. 😉
There’s really nothing not to love about this oatmeal. I mean, it’s cinnamon rolls! Crumbled-up oatmeal cookies! In a super-creamy bowl of oatmeal. In. Yo. Face.
For realz. 😀
This is about 10x better than ANY bowl of Starbucks drive-thru oatmeal. Yawn city. The only thing SB’s oatmeal has got goin’ for ’em is their speed.
Lucky for you, I’ve got both the speed factor AND the yum-factor covered.
No, no. There’s no need for for thanking. I only live to make other people’s days easier.
Okay, that was a lie. I live for Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal with Cookie Streusel. Period, the end.
It’s like eating a cinnamon roll and a cookie all in one perfect bowl of hot oatmeal.
All you need alongside a bowl is a steaming mug of hot apple cider and you are SET.
Helpful suggestion: Grab an XL spoon and change into your XL yoga pants before digging in. 😀
