Pan Fried Potatoes

These potatoes are...

Ingredients

- Sweet onion - Unsalted butter - Red potatoes - Vegetable oil

- Garlic powder - Dried oregano - Fresh parsley - Salt and pepper

Caramelize onions

Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until deeply browned and caramelized, about 20 minutes.

Prep the potatoes

Cut potatoes into 2-inch chunks and toss with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Pan fry potatoes

Heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add potatoes cut-side down in a single layer. Cover pan and allow to cook 8-10 minutes on first side.

Flip potatoes

Flip potatoes to opposite side, cover pan, and allow to cook an additional 5-8 minutes until potatoes are crispy and tender.

Add the onions

Toss caramelized onions and fresh minced parsley into potatoes and season with additional salt and pepper to taste if needed. Serve warm and enjoy!
