- Amaretto soaked French bread slices - A caramelized strawberry banana sauce - An easy weekend breakfast that's ready in only 40 minutes
- Strawberries - Bananas - Granulated sugar - Unsalted butter - Eggs
- Amaretto - 2% milk - French bread - Almonds - Powdered sugar
In a large bowl, combine strawberries, bananas, and sugar until evenly coated.
Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Arrange fruit in a single layer and allow to cook until softened. Flip fruit and continue to cook until sauce is bubbly and reduced.
In a large shallow bowl, whisk eggs, amaretto, and milk together until smooth.
Dip French bread slices in custard until evenly coated on both sides.
Cook French toast over medium heat, flipping once until golden brown.
Spoon strawberry banana sauce over French toast and top with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
