Grilled Corn on the Cob with Basil Butter

Your cook-out guests will adore this simple, grilled corn-on-the-cob that's generously slathered with an herby homemade basil butter. Ready in less than 15 minutes with only 4 ingredients!

  • 6 ears of corn shucked and silk removed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed basil leaves chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


  • Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat. Sprinkle corn with salt and pepper. Grill ears of corn, turning occasionally until corn is golden-brown, about 5-8 minutes. (do not overcook corn) Transfer corn to a serving plate and keep warm.
  • Prepare the basil butter: Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse several times until butter is smooth and creamy.
  • Spread warm corn with basil butter and serve warm.


Corn is best if eaten immediately after making.
