Baked Almond Streusel French Toast

Baked entirely on one sheet pan in less than 20 minutes and covered with tons of buttery streusel, this baked almond streusel french toast is going to be your new weekend brunch favorite!

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 slices stale french bread


  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Fresh berries and maple syrup for serving


  • In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, cream, syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth. Dip bread slices in egg mixture and place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Make the topping: In a small bowl, combine all topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle topping over french bread.
  • Bake french toast at 375F 15-20 minutes or until topping is golden and french toast is golden. Serve french toast warm with berries and maple syrup. Enjoy!
