Ingredients
Meatballs
2lbsground turkey
1cupbreadcrumbs
1-1/2teaspoonssalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
2tablespoonsminced fresh parsley
1largeeggs lightly beaten
Sauce
1/2cupsoy sauce
2tablespoonswhite vinegar
1/4cupwater
1/2cupcoconut sugar (or brown sugar)
1teaspoongrated fresh ginger
1clovegarlic, minced
1tablespooncornstarch, mixed with 1 tablespoon water
3tablespoonssesame seeds
2tablespoonsminced fresh parsley
Pasta or rice for serving
Instructions
Meatballs
In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, parsley, and egg until completely combined. Scoop meatballs into 1-in balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake meatballs at 375F 15-20 minutes or until meatballs register 160F. Keep warm and set aside.
Sauce
In a small skillet over medium-high heat, bring soy sauce, vinegar, water, sugar, ginger, and garlic to a simmer over medium-high heat. Gradually whisk in cornstarch/water mixture until smooth. Stir occasionally until sauce is thickened then remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds.
In a serving bowl, pour sauce evenly over meatballs and gently toss to coat. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve meatballs warm over pasta or rice and enjoy!
