Apple Pie Cream Cheese

  • 2 - 8 ounce packages of cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 2 whole apples peeled and small diced. I used Fuji apples, but you could use whatever kind you like
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 small pinch of grated nutmeg optional
  • 1 small pinch of ground ginger optional
  • 1 small pinch of salt
  • Bagels for spreading cream cheese on if desired


  • 1. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a baking dish, add the chopped apples and all the spices. Mix so that all apple are coated. Place in the oven for 30 minutes, until apples are tender.
  • 2. Let apples cool for 15 minutes. Place apples into a food processor and mix for about 20 seconds, scraping down the sides if needed.
  • 3. In a large bowl, add both packages of cream cheese and apple mixture. Mix cream cheese and apples together using an electric mixture until combined. Enjoy on a toasted bagel or with a spoon!
