  • SAUCE:
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cans 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil
  • 1 lb spaghetti pasta cooked according to package instructions
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional

  • Remove from heat and stir in cream, salt and pepper to taste, basil, and cooked meatballs.
  • Serve sauce over cooked pasta and sprinkle with grated cheese if desired.
