Gingerbread Loaf Cake

In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar together until smooth. Mix in eggs, molasses, yogurt, ginger, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Mix liquid ingredients


In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.

Combine dry ingredients


Fold flour mixture into liquid until batter is just combined. Scrape batter into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and smooth top.

Bake loaf cake at 350F 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool loaf cake on a wire cooling rack.

In a medium bowl, whisk powdered sugar, orange zest, and just enough milk to achieve drizzling consistency.
