Combine basil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan in a food processor. With machine running, drizzle olive oil through top until pesto is smooth.
Combine cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, and seasonings in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
Spread cream cheese in an even layer in a 9-inch pie plate. Top with pizza sauce, mozzarella, and mini pepperoni.
Bake pizza dip at 400F 20-25 minutes until bubbly. Optionally, broil dip 2-3 minutes on high to brown cheese and crisp up pepperoni. Drizzle dip with pesto.
Slice French bread into thin slices and broil or toast several minutes until golden-brown.
Serve pizza dip warm with toasted bread slices for dipping. Enjoy!
