Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe avocados, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
  • 2 medium cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Minced red onion, jalapeno, and additional cilantro for garnishing, optional
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  • Place avocado in a medium bowl and mash with a fork or potato masher. Fold in cilantro, garlic, and lime juice to taste. Season guacamole with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish guacamole with red onion, jalapeno, and cilantro if desired. Serve guacamole with tortilla chips and enjoy!
