Preheat oven to 400F and lightly grease a large sheet pan. Set aside for a moment.
In a small skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat, swirling pan occasionally until butter is a deep golden brown and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes of cooking.
Combine green beans, shallot, and browned butter and arrange in a single layer on sheet pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste and top with Parmesan cheese. Roast green beans at 400F 15-20 minutes until tender when pierced with a fork.
Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in same small skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and garlic and toss until breadcrumbs are a light golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add basil and season breadcrumbs with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over roasted green beans and serve immediately. Enjoy!
