The easiest weekend party sipper ever! These sparkling watermelon lime margarita slushies are quick to blend up and the best use for any leftover watermelon!
Let the long Labor Day weekend commence!! And obviously I brought a drink to celebrate.
And to sip gulp. Because today’s drink is about 80% watermelon and I don’t know about you, but it’s ALL about the watermelon right now for me. Devouring it all by the ton while I still can.
Whether your long weekend is gonna consist of big gatherings or just low-keyin’ it, let’s all just agree that ONE last killer summer sipper is a necessity.
And if that necessity is going to end up being multiple ginormous glasses of pretty watermelon lime margarita slushies….well, so be it.
These slushies aren’t really heavy on the alcohol content because I really wanted the watermelon to shine through. I use triple sec + tequila to give it that unmistakable margarita flavor, but the rest is pretty much just lime, sparkling water, and tooooons of watermelon.
Pssssssst…wanna know the best secret to prevent these slushies from getting watered down? FROZEN watermelon. It’s honestly like magic.
Blend ‘er all up and watch the prettiness appear…and then more than likely quickly disappear within minutes.
Suffice to say, you’re gonna need multiple blenders on standby this weekend for this one, guys. Have an amazing long weekend!
