Caramel Apple Crisp

- Apples - Granulated sugar - Unsalted butter - Heavy cream - Oats - All-purpose flour

- Brown sugar - Cinnamon - Ginger - Allspice - Nutmeg - Ice cream for serving


Melt sugar in a medium pot over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in butter and heavy cream and simmer until caramel is thickened. Remove from heat and add salt.

Make caramel


Arrange apples in an oven-safe skillet and drizzle caramel over top. Set aside for a moment.

Assemble apples


In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, spices, and melted butter until crumbly.
