- Unsalted butter - Chicken breasts - Olive oil - Green beans - Shallot - Garlic
- White wine - All-purpose flour - Chicken broth - Heavy cream - Parsley
Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper to taste. Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet and sear chicken on both sides until golden brown.
In same skillet, sauté green beans until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
In same skillet, sauté shallot in butter 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 additional minute. Pour wine into pan and allow to reduce 3-4 minutes.
Whisk flour, chicken broth, and heavy cream into sauce. Nestle chicken and beans into sauce, cover pan, and allow to simmer 8-12 minutes until chicken registers 165F.
Fold parsley into sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve chicken and beans over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
