Flaky browned butter biscuits and tender spiced apples are a winner fall match in this unbelievably easy apple cobbler that's the perfect way to use up all those fall apples!
1/2cupbuttermelted and browned on stove until a deep golden brown.
1cupmilk
2tablespoonshalf-and-half cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine all filling ingredients. Transfer to a medium skillet and cook over medium heat until apples are just slightly softened, but not entirely cooked. Transfer to prepared pan and set aside.
Make the filling: In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. Stir browned butter and milk into dry mixture until just combined.
Scoop biscuit dough over apples and gently spread a little bit to cover the apples. Brush biscuit topping with cream.
Bake cobbler at 350F 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden and apples are tender and bubbly. Cool cobbler 10 minutes then serve warm. Enjoy!
