Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced
  • 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 block (8 oz) feta, patted dry
  • Fresh basil and balsamic glaze for topping
  • Toasted bread slices for serving

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter then whisk in honey, garlic, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes and bring to a low simmer. Remove hot honey from heat and season with salt to taste. Keep warm (if hot honey solidifies, bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat or microwave 15 seconds to return to liquid form)
  • Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish and preheat oven to 400F. Arrange cherry tomatoes in a single layer and place feta in the center of pan. Drizzle hot honey over top of feta and tomatoes. Bake feta and tomatoes 20-25 minutes until feta is soft when center is lightly touched and tomatoes are soft and juicy.
  • Top feta with fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze and serve warm with toasted bread slices for dipping. Enjoy!
