This cinnamon roll oatmeal has a luscious swirl of cinnamon sugar glaze and is generously topped with a sweet cream cheese glaze. Your morning oatmeal will never be boring again!
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water and milk to a simmer. Stir in oats, reduce heat to low, and allow to cook over low 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently until oatmeal is soft and creamy. Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of salt. Keep oatmeal warm.
Cinnamon Swirl and Cream Cheese Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth. Set aside for a moment.
In a separate small bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in vanilla and just enough milk to achieve drizzling consistency.
Divide oatmeal between two bowls and spoon or pipe cinnamon sugar mixture in a swirl on top of bowls. Drizzle bowls with cream cheese glaze and top with chopped pecans. Serve immediately and enjoy!
