Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk (2%, whole, or almond milk all work)
  • 2 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup or more to taste
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • Dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, or milk for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • In a greased 3-qt crockpot, combine milk, mashed banana, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, and oats. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours until oatmeal is creamy and soft.
  • Serve oatmeal hot with desired toppings and milk. Enjoy!

Notes

Store oatmeal in fridge up to 6 days. Reheat before serving.
