Grilled Steak Gyros with Cucumber Feta Salsa and Tzatziki Sauce
Grilled to perfection and piled high with a fresh cucumber feta salsa and lots of homemade tzatziki sauce, these grilled steak gyros are a fresh summer twist on the classic sandwich!
Pat steak dry and place in a ziplock bag. In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and oregano until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour marinade over steak and seal bag. Let marinate at least 1 hour.
Remove steak from marinade and place directly on a preheated grill. Grill 2-3 minutes per side until steak reaches your desired doneness (I would recommend a medium to a medium-rare cook)
Cover steak with tin foil and let rest 10 minutes. Thinly slice steak against the grain.
