4chicken or turkey sausage linkssliced 1/4-in thick
2tablespoonsminced fresh parsley
Instructions
In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk milk, cream, and pumpkin into mixture until smooth and lump-free. Bring sauce to a low simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and whisk in nutmeg, sage, Parmesan, and salt and pepper to taste.
Add cooked pasta and sausage to sauce and gently stir until completely coated. Sprinkle with minced parsley and enjoy warm!
