Spinach Basil Pesto

This vibrant spinach basil pesto is incredibly flavorful and only requires 6 ingredients and 5 minutes to make it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly-packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup firmly-packed fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts (or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 medium garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place basil, spinach, pine nuts, Parmesan, and garlic in a food processor. Process pesto, while slowly drizzling olive oil through top until pesto is smooth, scraping down sides as necessary.
  • Season pesto with salt and pepper to taste and store in refrigerator until ready to use. Enjoy!

Storing Instructions
Store pesto in refrigerator up to 6 days. Pesto may also be frozen up to 2 months.
