Fudgy brownie bits are blended with lots of chocolate and coffee in this brownie mocha frappuccino that’s better than any coffee shop and the best afternoon pick-me-up!
As if the entire concept of a mocha frappuccino wasn’t extra enough…let’s take things a step further and invite brownies to the party.
Best. Decision. Ever. Your local Starbucks has nothing on this coffee magic.
This beauty of a drink is that it’s kind of like a mix between a cake shake and a classic frappuccino and I’m here to tell you that it’s the absolute best of both worlds.
Only 6 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time stand between you and this sipper and it’s almost scary how easy it is to blend up at a moment’s notice.
Couldn’t think of a better use for leftover brownies if I tried.
This Frappuccino features…
- A rich coffee flavor
- Lots of chocolate and crumbled brownies
- Minutes to make and so much cheaper than a coffee shop
Making the Frappuccino
(scroll down to the bottom of the post for the full recipe)
Ingredients You Will Need
- Espresso
- 2% or skim milk
- Crushed ice
- Chocolate syrup
- Granulated sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Brownie cubes
- Whipped cream
Tips for Perfect Frappuccino
- Use a good blender – probably goes without saying but a good blender will lead to a smooth and creamy frappuccino.
- Crush ice prior to blending – this will help the ice blend with the other ingredients much easier.
- Use espresso or strong coffee – if you don’t have access to espresso, strong-brewed coffee will work great in its place.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this recipe!
- Use chocolate cake – try crumbled chocolate cake in place of the brownies.
- Cut down on caffeine – feel free to use decaf coffee in place of the espresso.
- Make it dairy-free – feel free to use a dairy-free milk such as oat or almond milk and skip the whipped cream.
Chocolate-lovers, this frappuccino has your name written all over it! The coffee + brownie combo is a match made in heaven and the extra chocolate really intensifies the coffee flavor to another level.
