A sweet, jammy honey peach glaze coats every inch of juicy grilled chicken thighs in this peach glazed chicken that’s incredible with fresh summer peaches.

Peaches are the name of the game right now and this chicken is taking this summer fruit to an entirely different level.
We’ve got one rockstar of a peach honey glaze coating every inch of grilled chicken thighs and honestly, it’s something I could probably put on top of cardboard and be perfectly happy. This is the good stuff.

Fresh peach puree and honey are the secret sauce weapons here and a quick simmer on the stovetop with a few aromatics, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard transforms this glaze into a mess of grilled chicken’s best friend.
This Chicken Features…
- Sweet, flavorful honey peach glaze
- A beautiful caramelized char on the outside of chicken

Ingredients You Will Need
- Peaches
- Honey
- Brown sugar
- Apple cider vinegar
- Dijon mustard
- Garlic
- Rosemary
- Chicken thighs or breasts
Choosing Your Chicken
I recommend using boneless skinless chicken thighs for this recipe. This cut of chicken is fast to cook up on the grill and turns out super tender and juicy every time especially after being marinated.
If you don’t have thighs on hand, boneless skinless chicken breasts will work great instead, however, you may need to adjust the cook time slightly if they are thicker breasts. Always use a kitchen thermometer to test the internal temperature of meat.

Tips for Perfect Glazed Chicken
- Puree peach – choose a ripe peach that will easily break down into a puree.
- Use fresh garlic and rosemary – these ingredients add a lovely aromatic flavor the glaze.
- Reduce glaze 10-15 minutes – this will cook the ingredients down into a sticky, jam-like glaze.
- Brush chicken with glaze during grilling – this will help the outside of the chicken caramelize.
- Reserve half of glaze for after grilling – brush the chicken with more glaze after grilling for a flavorful, sticky texture.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this chicken.
- Use a different fruit – try plums, nectarines, pineapple, or apricots in place of the peaches.
- Make it spicy – add a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the glaze.
Stovetop and Oven Instructions
Follow these instructions for how to cook the chicken indoors instead of on the grill.
- Stovetop: Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet (or brush over a large cast iron grill pan) Once pan is hot, add chicken and sear on both sides while brushing with glaze until chicken registers 165F, adding more oil to pan as needed. Note: if you are using a thicker cut of chicken, such as a chicken breast, I recommend searing chicken on both sides, then finish cooking in a 400F oven 5-10 minutes.
- Oven:Â Arrange chicken in a single layer on a greased sheet pan and coat in half of glaze. Bake at 400F 20-25 minutes until chicken registers 165F. Optionally, broil chicken 1 inch from heat 2-3 minutes to crisp up the outside and top with other half of glaze afterwards.

You can never have too much of that glaze here and you won’t have to skimp on it either! My recipe makes plenty for coating the chicken after grilling with even a little leftover for drizzling on top of rice or veggies for a full meal.
Bottom line: put those peaches to good use and get this chicken in your life.
