This Milkshake features…
- A thick and creamy texture
- Sweet pumpkin spice flavor and bananas
- Ready in minutes with only a handful of ingredients

Making the Milkshake
(scroll down to the bottom of post for the full recipe)
Ingredients You Will Need
- Vanilla ice cream
- Bananas
- Pumpkin puree
- Brown sugar
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Vanilla extract
- 2% or skim milk
- Whipped cream
- Crushed gingersnaps

Tips for Perfect Shakes
- Use a good blender – a high quality blender will break down the ingredients quickly and give the shake an incredible texture.
- Freeze bananas – frozen diced bananas help contribute to the creamy texture.
- Thin shake with milk – start with 1/2 cup milk and work your way up depending on how thick you like your shake.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on these shakes.
- Skip the banana – add an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream if you’re not a fan of banana flavor.
- Use another sweetener – try maple syrup or honey in place of the brown sugar.
- Blend cookies into shake – blend a handful of gingersnaps or graham crackers into the shake.
Serving Suggestions
I recommend serving shakes with whipped cream on top, a few banana slices, and crushed gingersnap cookies. For best results, serve shakes immediately after blending for the best texture!

The pumpkin spice flavor pairs just dreamily with the sweet banana and boy, you better be piling ’em with ALL the whipped cream you can fit on top.
These shakes are proof that pumpkin doesn’t just belong in baked goods! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a easier fall-themed dessert than these beauties right here.
