Lots of mocha flavor and a generous portion of crunchy chocolate pieces star in this creamy banana-based ice cream that’s secretly healthy and doesn’t even require an ice cream maker!

I come bearing the best news of the week today: It’s FRIDAY.
And this is an ICE CREAM kinda fun-day Friday because gosh, this has been a looooong week and I’m more than ready to kick it back tonight with a bowlful of this ice cream and a stackful of new cookbooks that I got at the beginning of this week that I STILL have yet to even look through.
Clearly, I’m a total party animal when it comes to Friday nights. Aheeeem.

Oh, I’ve also got some worst news of the week if you’d care to hear it: (either way, I’ll probably tell you)
I’m sunburned. My back and shoulders are literally FRIED and I’d hazard to guess that that would be thanks to working a double-shift at my lifeguard job on Wednesday and having to stand out in the broiling 800-degree skin-frying sun for 1-1/2 hours straight with no breaks.
Trust me though, that was definitely not a boring 5 million hours. All the kids are out of school here now and I’m pretty sure they don’t have a care in the world. Meaning they break the rules and no matter how many times you blow your whistle and yell at them to stop-hanging-on-the-slides-for-gosh-sakes or quit-dunking-your-friend-underwater they’ll probably do it again.
I think I need a louder whistle, a scarier yelling voice, and a sun-blocking umbrella permanently fastened to my back.

An endless supply of this ice cream would just be the icing on the cake too, uhh if you know what I mean.
Speaking of which, let’s talk about this ice cream that I’m so freakin’ psyched about.
There’s coffee. There’s banana. There’s chocolate and even MORE chocolate. All wrapped up in a big ‘ol creamy scoop of frozen heaven.
Oh, heaaaaaavens. So darn C-R-E-A-M-Y but at the same time loaded with bits of perfectly crunchy chocolate.
Texture-lover’s dream in one scoop!

Oh, and did I mention that whole no-churn PLUS made-nearly-completely-from-bananas business?
Yes, I’m serious. This is totally that “magic ice cream” everyone’s talking about! Mostly-healthy, super-easy, ultra-skinny + an extra dash of awesome. 😉
Seriously, if no one spilled the beans, NOBODY would ever guess that that this ice cream is secretly the healthy, make-your-skin-glow kinda summer treat. Do those even exist? They sure as heck do now.

For real, friends, a scoop of this ultra-awesome ice cream would make your Friday in awesome ways.
You might even be inclined to lick the bowl clean.
But uhhhh, you did not hear that from me. I try to set a good example in the manners department and hey, that’s what closets are for right?!

Commence LICKING. ♥

Hearing it’s Friday is definitely the best news of the week!! This ice cream looks divine, love the flavours going on and that it doesn’t need an ice cream machine because even though I’ve wanted one for 5 years, I STILL haven’t got round to actually buying one 🙁 🙁 too much grown up boring stuff to pay for!!
