If you’re a fan of the muffin tops, these ultra-moist banana bread muffin tops are an absolute breakfast must! Slather them with a tangy cream cheese frosting for the BEST breakfast combo.
Muffin tops are easily the best part of a muffin, you guys. I’m just gonna lay that as a stone-cold hard fact.
Surely I’m not the only one who ALWAYS eats a muffin from the bottom up to save the best part for last? The top is just where all the good stuff usually is.
And in a case like today where there’s just the muffin top and a toooooon of frosting crowning the whole thing…I don’t even know where to start tbh…
I can start with laying out the simple fact that banana bread + cream cheese frosting all wrapped up in one killer muffin top is just the breakfast goals you wanna have.
These are SO incredibly easy, you guys! And dare I say that they might be even better than actual muffins? The frosting and the fact that they look kinda like muffin cookies is a convincing argument.
Prep is TWO steps! >>
- Banana bread muffin batter. Comes together in one bowl and then you’ll simply just scoop the batter onto baking sheets by the 1/4 cupfuls. Bake ’em until they spring back when lightly touched and that’s all!
- Except it’s not actually all. Because the cream cheese frosting plays a crucial and necessary role here. And these banana bread muffin tops must be piled with frosting to within an inch of their lives.??
Brb, my world is currently ruled by a muffin top. Alright, like 12 of them okay? The breakfast game is going quite well around here lately.
There are no shortage of these in other words. As it should be. ???
