Smoky grilled peaches and drizzles of sweet and spicy homemade hot honey sauce are the perfect duo in this grilled peach flatbread.

Summer appetizers that you accidentally make a meal out of >>> I truly couldn’t think of a happier accident.
Peaches are everywhere I look right now so naturally it was only a matter of time before they found their way into a killer flatbread.
Made entirely on the grill and also smothered in fresh basil and homemade hot honey? No wonder we’re making a meal out of this goodness.

This flatbread can be pulled together in only about 20 minutes and it goes SO incredibly well alongside any other summer appetizers and a few glasses of chilled white wine!
Just put me down for an entire flatbread to myself, please.

Ingredients You Will Need
- Unsalted butter
- Honey
- Garlic
- Red pepper flakes
- Hot sauce
- Peaches
- Olive oil
- Flatbreads
- Mozzarella
- Basil
How to Adjust Heat Level
Use these instructions for adjusting the level of heat in this flatbread.
- Mild Version: decrease the hot sauce to 1 teaspoon and the red pepper flakes to 1/4 teaspoon.
- Spicy Version: use 1 tablespoon hot sauce and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Extra-Spicy Version: use 2 tablespoons hot sauce and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes.

Tips For Perfect Flatbread
- Grill peaches separately – I like to put the peaches directly on the grill grates so they get slightly charred. Once peaches are cooked, remove from grill, thinly slice, and they’re ready for the flatbread.
- Preheat grill to 350F – you want your grill fully preheated to 350F before adding the flatbreads. I don’t recommend letting your grill get any hotter than 350F otherwise the bottoms of the flatbreads may burn.
- Allow flatbreads to cook 3-5 minutes – it won’t take long for the flatbreads to cook. Once the cheese is melted and the bottoms are browned they are ready to pull off.
- Top flatbreads with peaches, hot honey, and basil after grilling – this will keep the peaches and hot honey from leaking juices off of the flatbread and add a pop of herby flavor from the basil at the end.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this flatbread.
- Use another fruit – swap the peaches out for plums, nectarines, apricots, or mango.
- Try another cheese – replace the mozzarella with shredded gouda, cheddar, burrata, or Monterey jack. You can also use a combination of cheeses!
- Swap fresh herbs – try oregano, chives, or parsley in place of the basil.
Stovetop and Oven Instructions
Don’t have a grill? You can still make this recipe using these stovetop and oven instructions.
These flatbreads are very easy to convert to an oven version! Preheat a pizza stone in oven at 425F or arrange flatbreads on a large sheet pan for baking.
Brush peaches with olive oil per recipe instructions and sear in a large skillet over medium-high heat until golden-brown. Cool and thinly slice.
Once oven has preheated, slide flatbreads either onto stone or on sheet pan and bake at 425F 8-12 minutes until cheese is melted and edges of flatbread are browned. Top with peaches, hot honey, and basil per recipe instructions.

The sweet, smoky flavors from the peaches paired with the spicy hot honey sauce is a combo of pure magic in these flatbreads! A little gooey mozzarella and fresh basil action combined with that and we’ve got a stellar app on our hands.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 medium clove garlic, minced
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 medium peaches, halved and pit removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 medium flatbreads
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter then whisk in honey, garlic, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce and bring to a low simmer. Remove from heat and keep warm (if hot honey solidifies while it sits, gently reheat over low heat)
- Preheat a grill to 400F. Brush peach halves well with olive oil.
- Place peaches cut-side down on preheated grill and let cook 3-5 minutes until grill marks appear and peaches are slightly caramelized. Transfer peaches to a cutting board and cut each peach half into thin slices.
- Arrange mozzarella on flatbreads and season with salt and pepper.
- Lower grill heat to 350F. Slide flatbreads onto grill and immediately close grill. Allow flatbreads to cook 3-5 minutes until mozzarella is melted and bottom of flatbreads are slightly charred. Use a spatula to slide flatbread off of grill and onto a cutting board.
- Top flatbread with grilled peach wedges, drizzles of hot honey, and fresh basil. Cut into wedges and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy!
