Ingredients You Will Need
- Kings Hawaiian rolls
- Basil pesto
- Turkey
- Burrata cheese
- Tomato
- Basil
- Balsamic glaze
Choosing Your Buns
These sliders work great with a variety of buns! We typically go for the classic Kings Hawaiian slider buns, but any smaller size bun or dinner roll will work great as a base for these sliders.
You can also build the sliders on a loaf of Italian or ciabatta bread and cut into small slider-size pieces for serving.

Tips for Perfect Sliders
- Toast buns – reheat the buns according to package instructions before assembling sliders.
- Dry tomatoes – use paper towels to blot excess moisture from the tomatoes.
- Season tomatoes with salt and pepper – this adds extra flavor to the tomatoes.
- Serve sliders immediately after assembly – the sliders will get soggy as they sit so for best results I recommend serving them immediately.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on these sliders.
- Use another meat – try roast chicken, beef, bacon, or ham in place of the turkey.
- Skip the meat – you can easily skip the turkey and replace it with more cheese, tomato, or other vegetables.
- Add more vegetables – try adding a few cucumber slices, fresh spinach, or lettuce.
Serving Suggestions
Try serving these sliders alongside a cheese plate for an appetizer or make a meal out of them and pair alongside a big tossed salad or soup.

This is one appetizer that will be a hit wherever you take it! It’s so fresh-tasting from all the basil pesto and juicy tomatoes, yet hearty at the same time.
The perfect little bite that quickly turns into MANY more.
