Roasted all on one sheet pan in only 30 minutes, this lemon Dijon salmon is roasted alongside tender broccolini in a fresh and zingy lemon Dijon sauce.

January resets are definitely not a bummer with sheet pan winners like this one on the menu! Emphasis on the bold, lemony flavors and lots of gorgeous broccolini, please.
Citrus is so good right now and we’re definitely letting it shine in this beautiful salmon dinner! We’ve got a simple lemon Dijon sauce coating every inch of the sheet pan in its goodness. Bright and tangy, with just a hint of sweetness – it’s really liquid gold.

This salmon will only take minutes to prep and it’s so easy to adapt to different veggies you have lying around. Regular broccoli also works great in place of the broccolini if you have trouble locating it at your store.
Either way we’re kicking off the new year with a healthy and dang delicious bang!

Ingredients You Will Need
- Salmon
- Broccolini
- Olive oil
- Lemon
- Dijon mustard
- Honey
- Garlic
- Chives
Choosing Your Salmon
You will need about 1-1/2 lbs of salmon for this recipe I recommend buying a side of salmon and cutting into 4 uniform fillets about 6 oz each
I recommend using skinless salmon for this recipe, but if you’re nervous about removing the skin from the delicate salmon fillets yourself, feel free to leave it on, roast the salmon skin-side down, and remove from salmon after baking.

Tips for Perfect Sheet Pan Salmon
- Use fresh lemon and garlic – using these ingredients fresh provides lots of flavor.
- Arrange broccolini and salmon in a single layer – this will help everything roast up evenly.
- Roast additional lemon slices – the additional fresh lemon provides a little extra flavor while baking. Remove the lemon slices before serving.
- Do not overbake salmon – I prefer roasting the salmon until it reaches an internal temp of 130F which will give you a super juicy and buttery texture. If you find that the salmon is done before the broccolini is tender, remove it from the oven and continue roasting broccolini.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this salmon.
- Use another vegetable – try sweet pepper, mushrooms, asparagus, or green beans in place of the broccolini. You can also use a mix of several veggies.
- Try another mustard – use a whole-grain mustard in place of the Dijon.
- Top with another herb – try fresh parsley or dill in place of the chives.
Serving Suggestions
This salmon and broccolini is great served alongside mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, buttered angel hair noodles, or steamed rice for a full meal.

While it bakes, the lemon mustard sauce soaks into every inch of the tender broccolini and buttery salmon and trust me, it’s nothing short of a flavor bomb! No way around it, this is a dinner game-changer.
Thank goodness for my sheet pan is all I’m gonna say. It’s getting quite the workout with this recipe lately!
