Add a little fun to your usual breakfast, with these fall-flavored granola parfaits! They whip up in less than 10 minutes and are layered with crunchy granola, caramelized apples, and smooth vanilla yogurt.
We’re going parfait-cray today. YAY.
And well, Friday seems as good a time as any to break out the caramel-y apple goodness, no?
But for your *ahem* convenience, I threw granola into the mix. And yogurt so these parfaits could qualify as health food.
Which, they really really are.
Promise.
Cross my heart, hope to die. Push a parfait in my eye.
Eer..FACE.
So y’all know KIND Snacks right? Well, the lovely folks over at KIND were super “kind” enough to send me two huge bags of their popular Maple Quinoa Clusters and asked me if I could create a breakfast parfait recipe using their granola.
Well, they didn’t have to ask me twice! I love how healthy all of their snack products are and really love the awesome causes their company stands stands for. Once a month every month, they donate $10,000 to a different cause!
And O-M-G, you guys. That granola is literally so good I’ve just been eating it straight outta the bag with ZE-RO shame.
And in my parfaits, obv which have sneakily worked themselves into my regular breakfast-rotation. Kinda cause they’re they’re so. dang. amazing and so. dang. easy.
I mean, we could totally just layer this granola with vanilla yogurt and call it done, but you know me: I went a step further and added some caramel-y goodness..
I mean, it IS still fall! And my apple-side is still speaking (read: screaming) EAT ALL THE CARAMELIZED APPLES.
The caramelized apples, guys. They’re a total game-changer.
Heaven-on-earth.
Combing the soft, tender apples with granola and vanilla yogurt pretty much fools your tastebuds and almost reminds me of an apple crisp. (!!!)
Uh-huh. Apple crisp healthified, in a jar, and for breakfast. *cue faceplanting*
These parfaits are SO stinking easy it’s literally impossible to mess them up. If you’ve got 10 minutes and if you can slice up some apples, turn on a burner, or spoon yogurt into a glass, you can definitely make these parfaits.
And I sincerely hope all of you know how to do those things, because I would NOT want you to miss out on these.
Your weekend breakfast would be unbelievably lonely and parfait-less. *sad face*
TIP: Little cooks (i.e. kids) LOVE to help assemble these parfaits. I’ll usually caramelize up the apples myself, and then let the kiddos go to town layering the yogurt, granola, and apples in their own parfait glasses.
Theeeeen, it’s kinda fun to watch them faceplant into their creations.
I’ve obviously taught them very well. 😀
Guys, it’s quite possible that I may not be able to ever go back to cornflakes for breakfast again.
But you know what? I’m okay with that. 🙂
