These protein peanut butter balls take only a handful of ingredients to throw together and taste exactly like a peanut butter cup!

Peanut butter cups in protein ball form! How cute are these little gems??
With the added bonuses of only a handful of ingredients, minutes to make, no bake, and better for ya! Such small little treats, yet so many wins.
Give me one good reason why we should be sharing? Take it from me, it’s so hard.

Everyone loves peanut butter and chocolate together and these bites are so similar to a peanut butter cup it’s scary! They’ve got that soft and chewy peanut butter-heavy center we all know and love and a generous dip in melted chocolate with a little peanut + salt action on top.
With a fraction of the calories, mind you. YES!
These Peanut Butter Balls Feature...
- A soft and chewy peanut butter base
- A coating of melted dark chocolate
- NO refined sugar or butter
- Only 7 ingredients and under an hour to make

Making the Peanut Butter Balls
(scroll down to the bottom of the post for the full recipe)
Ingredients You Will Need
- Creamy peanut butter
- Vanilla protein powder
- Greek yogurt
- Honey
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
- Coconut oil
- Dark chocolate

Tips for Perfect Peanut Butter Balls
- Use creamy peanut butter – this will give the peanut filling a smooth texture.
- Chill balls 15 minutes before coating in chocolate – this will make the balls firm and much easier to handle.
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil together – this gives the chocolate a firm yet bite-able texture once set.
- Top balls with peanuts + salt immediately after dipping – do this part while the chocolate is still warm so the peanuts and salt stick to the chocolate.
- Chill balls additional 15 minutes – this will firm up the chocolate perfectly.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on these bites.
- Use another nut butter – try almond or cashew butter.
- Put fruit in the center – press a blueberry, raspberry, banana slice, or strawberry piece in the center of each ball.
- Try another chocolate – try semisweet or milk chocolate for the coating.
Storing and Freezing Instructions
These balls store well in refrigerator up to 1 week. They can also be frozen up to 2 months and served from frozen for an icy treat.

Sorry in advance for how many of these you’re going to be eating! They’re just way too easy to make and even more easy to accidentally eat 5 of.
Take it from me: this is something you’re going to want to stock your snack pile with immediately.
