This bubbly mixed berry kiwi sangria is so easy to make you’ll find yourself making it all summer long! Perfect for entertaining or for just a casual weekend sipper.
There’s nothing quite like a pitcher of sangria to get a party going!
Especially if said sangria is as stunning as this one. Leave it to kiwi and all that berry goodness to absolutely dominate in the looks department.
It feels wrong even calling this sangria a recipe because it is seriously SO easy to throw together! All we’re looking at is chopping up a little fruit, throwing it in a pitcher with a handful of other ingredients, and calling it a day.
A very good day, mind you. Any day is a good day if sangria is involved.
Did I mention that we’re using champagne in this particular recipe? You’ve gotta love a drink with some fizz and this sangria definitely brings the bubbly to the party.
This Sangria features…
- Sweet kiwi slices and fresh berries
- Bubbly champagne with a pleasant strawberry-kiwi juice flavor
- Minutes to make and impressive for any summer gathering

Ingredients You Will Need
- Kiwi
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Strawberry-kiwi juice
- Simple syrup
- Orange liqueur
- Champagne
- Mint
Fresh vs. Frozen Fruit
I always recommend using fresh fruit if possible with sangria. Frozen fruit tends to get soggy once it thaws and does not hold up as well in the champagne as fresh fruit does.
Tips for Perfect Sangria
- Add orange liqueur – this adds just a touch of citrus flavor that pairs very nicely with the strawberry-kiwi juice.
- Chill champagne before assembling – make sure your champagne is completely chilled before assembling sangria for the best flavor.
- Crush mint leaves – use your hands to lightly crush the mint leaves before adding to the sangria. This helps release the mint oils which will flavor the sangria.
- Add simple syrup to taste – the amount of simple syrup you use is totally up to your preference on how sweet you want the sangria. Following the recipe as is will give you a balanced sweet and tangy flavor, but you can easily adjust it up or down based on your sweetness preference.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this sangria.
- Use other fruits – try blackberries, raspberries, peaches, or pineapple.
- Try a different liqueur – any fruit liqueur or Aperol would be a great substitute for the orange liqueur.
- Use a different wine – try a rose, pinot grigio, or sauvignon blanc in place of the champagne.
Make Ahead Instructions
If you would like to prep this sangria ahead of time, I recommend combining all ingredients except the champagne in a pitcher. Wait to add the champagne until just before serving so it doesn’t go flat.
This sangria is seriously so simple, but all the flavors work to perfection together! Kiwi is such an underrated fruit and we’re giving it the shining spotlight it absolutely deserves finally.
Just be warned, once you start sipping this pretty sangria it’s very hard to stop!
