If it’s on the sheet pan, it’s on the weeknight dinner menu! This salmon is no exception and it’s bringing ALL the honey garlic glory with it.
One of the most popular recipes on my website is my honey garlic chicken and y’all seriously love that recipe so much I recently decided that I had to make it into a salmon variation.
Only this version is made on the sheet pan with even LESS mess and fuss involved!

Pair it with a party of green beans roasted alongside the fillets and dinner’s 100% covered. Both literally with so much of that awesome sauce and figuratively.
This Salmon Features…

Making the Salmon
(scroll down to the bottom of the post for the full recipe)
Ingredients You Will Need
- Green beans
- Vegetable oil
- Unsalted butter
- Garlic
- Honey
- Soy sauce
- Apple cider vinegar
- Worcestershire sauce
- Salmon fillets
- Parsley
Choosing Your Salmon
You will need 1-1/2 lbs of salmon for this recipe. I recommend buying a side portion of salmon, removing the skin, and cutting into 4 uniform fillets rather than buying individual fillets so you can control the size.

Tips for Perfect Baked Salmon
- Use fresh garlic – jarred or powdered won’t have the same flavor as fresh here.
- Reduce honey garlic sauce – allow it to cook on the stovetop on low for 3-5 minutes to thicken it into a flavorful, syrupy sauce.
- Arrange beans and salmon in a single layer – this will help everything roast up evenly.
- Don’t overcook salmon – I prefer roasting the salmon until it reaches an internal temp of 130F which will give you a super juicy and buttery texture. If you find that the salmon is done before the beans are tender, remove it from the oven and continue roasting beans.
- Top with parsley after baking – this adds an herby pop of flavor to the salmon and beans.
Recipe Variations
Try these ideas for a different twist on this salmon.
- Use another vegetable – try broccoli, sweet pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, or a mix of several.
- Make it spicy – add red pepper flakes, hot sauce, or a minced jalapeno to the sauce.
- Try a different protein – use chicken breasts or thighs in place of the salmon. Be aware that cook time will vary depending on the thickness of your cut.
Serving Suggestions
This salmon makes a great low-carb meal all on its own but also pairs great alongside a big salad, steamed rice, or roasted potatoes.

This sauce really is pure magic and coats the salmon and beans in ALL it’s garlicky, sweet goodness. It’s the little touch of soy sauce in the sauce that really makes a difference here, don’t skip it!
And for the love of all things good and holy, make sure you spoon extra of the sauce accumulated in the pan over your personal plate!

Ingredients
- 1 lb trimmed green beans
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
- 1-1/2 lbs skinless salmon, cut into 4 fillets
- Kosher salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 medium cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F and lightly grease a large sheet pan. Toss green beans with oil, season with salt and pepper, and arrange in a single layer on sheet pan. Arrange salmon fillets on sheet pan alongside green beans and lightly season fillets on both sides with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes until just fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and Worcestershire to garlic and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and allow to simmer 3-5 minutes until sauce is reduced and slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
- Remove sauce from heat and season with a little pepper to taste. Spoon sauce over salmon fillets and green beans.
- Roast salmon and green beans at 400F 12-15 minutes until salmon registers 130F and green beans are tender (remove salmon fillets from pan if they are done before the green beans). Top salmon and green beans with fresh parsley and serve warm with any accumulated pan sauce on top. Enjoy!
