Grilled chicken burgers are piled high with fresh Greek toppings and a creamy red roasted red pepper tzatziki sauce for an incredibly flavorful Greek twist on burgers!

I’m here to make sure that your grilled chicken burgers don’t suck this summer. I might have gone a little overboard.
This is one loaded as heck burger. Like good luck fitting your mouth around this burger without making an impressive mess.
Which, by the way, is the sign of a GOOD burger where I come from. The more loaded your burger is and the bigger mess you make, the better off you are.

Hello, we are talking ALL the Greek toppings sitting atop a juicy chicken burger with roasted red pepper tzatziki sauce filling in any remaining empty space.
This is a burger you’d probably pay easily $18 for in a restaurant. Today we’re pulling this off with easy, basic ingredients in less than an hour.
Plus you get a heck of a lot extra tzatziki sauce for dipping purposes without having to pay an upcharge. ??

Let’s make some grilled chicken burgers, y’all! Prep is as follows. >>
- First off, let’s talk burger patties. Because chicken is a much leaner meat than beef, we’re helping it out by adding breadcrumbs + an egg to the meat to help hold everything together. A few herbs + seasonings and that’s it!
- Quick note on grilling these burgers: make sure you cook the burgers on tin foil rather than directly on the grill grate. Otherwise they tend to stick quite a bit. Also you can totally cook them on the stove in a cast iron or nonstick pan if you don’t have a grill.
- Tzatziki! You can make this sauce way ahead of time and just store it in the fridge until it’s burger time. Important things to note is that it’s roasted red pepper tzatziki and it is about the best thing you’ll ever drench a burger in.
Let’s assemble some burgers! I keep it classic with the Greek toppings and use thinly sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce leaves, red onion, and crumbled feta.

Yeah, good luck fitting that in your face without a mess, friends.
SO WORTH IT though! These are the juiciest chicken burgers I’ve literally ever had. Plus all the Greek toppings + tzatziki add a fresh flavor that’s untouchable. And it’s kinda sorta health food!
Aka, get ready for these to be your burgers of the summer!

Let’s grill some more dinners this summer! ♥

Greek Grilled Chicken Burgers
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, oregano, salt, and pepper. Very gently knead until just combined. Form mixture into 6 patties.
- Preheat a grill to 375F. I would recommend grilling these burgers either on a greased grill pan or a sheet of aluminum foil (they tend to stick to the grill grates if you put them on directly) Grill chicken burgers, flipping once until golden-brown and meat registers 165F (about 8-10 minutes of cooking)
- Assemble burgers by spreading a little tzatziki sauce on the bottom of a toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf and several cucumbers on top, following with the chicken burgers, red onions, tomato slices, feta, and additional tzatziki sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!
